Creating a fear-free environment requires a collaborative approach between our staff and our patients guardians. We strive to make sure every visit is a positive and relaxing experience for both you and your pet.

Our goal is to prevent and alleviate fear, stress and anxiety in pets; especially when visiting the vet. Lakeshore Vet has taken the extra steps to become a Cat Friendly Practice by offering our feline visitors their very own V.I.C (Very Important Cat) entrance, waiting area and examination room. Having our separate spaces for felines has allowed us to put more canine details into our front lobby and examination rooms making their main focus for our canine guests.

An AAHA accreditation signifies that our veterinary practice has met or exceeded stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine, from pain management to medical record-keeping, and have committed to a path of continuous improvement.

Individualized Vaccination Protocols

During your pets wellness visit he or she will be assessed for their individual risk level for certain vaccinations and a plan will be set in place based off of the lifestyle risk levels.
We have the ability to run some vaccine titres in house, while others will be sent to an outside laboratory for testing.
