We're a full-service veterinary clinic
At Lakeshore Veterinary Clinic, your pet's health is our number one priority. We work together to offer professional, honest, compassionate care and support to our clients while providing the highest quality medicine while creating a fear free environment for our patients.
In House Laboratory ServicesOur onsite laboratory is equipped with the latest lab machines from Idexx which allows us to offer quicker results to aid in diagnosing and treating your pet as quickly as possible.
We are able to run a variety of tests in house including: Complete blood counts, Chemistry profile, Electrolytes, Thyroid, Bile acid/ Liver profile, Heartworm testing with tick screening, urine and fecal testing, Blood Clotting test, Blood type testing and FIV/ Felv Test. If your pet is in need of a test that we do not offer in house we rely on an outside laboratory to run additional diagnostics. AAHA Certified, Feline Friendly and Fear Free Certified PracticeCreating a fear-free environment requires a collaborative approach between our staff and our patients guardians. We strive to make sure every visit is a positive and relaxing experience for both you and your pet. Our goal is to prevent and alleviate fear, stress and anxiety in pets; especially when visiting the vet. Lakeshore Vet has taken the extra steps to become a Cat Friendly Practice by offering our feline visitors their very own V.I.C (Very Important Cat) entrance, waiting area and examination room. Having our separate spaces for felines has allowed us to put more canine details into our front lobby and examination rooms making their main focus for our canine guests. An AAHA accreditation signifies that our veterinary practice has met or exceeded stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine, from pain management to medical record-keeping, and have committed to a path of continuous improvement. Individualized Vaccination ProtocolsDuring your pets wellness visit he or she will be assessed for their individual risk level for certain vaccinations and a plan will be set in place based off of the lifestyle risk levels.
We have the ability to run some vaccine titres in house, while others will be sent to an outside laboratory for testing. |
